Dublin, the capital of Ireland, is at the same time, the largest city in the country. It’s located in the east of the country and was, initially, a Viking settlement. It is a real cultural center of Ireland – here are found the most prestigious museums, theaters and cultural festivals. Also, the city has a rich literary history – here were born authors such as George Bernard Shaw, Samuel Beckett, Oscar Wilde or Jonathan Swift.
The city is famous for its nightlife, especially for the Temple Bar district, where parties are held until morning.
Dublin Airport is located 10 km from the center of Dublin, in the north. It is easy to get from the airport to the city, by buses, trains or taxis. There are over 700 buses which go daily to the airport and come back in the city.
